Overview of Team Leader Position
Responsibilities:
- Lead the shift (Run breaks and direct the team)
- Encourage the team members and fellow team leaders
- Hold them accountable for Chick-fil-A Standards and Procedures
- Count registers
- Ensure excellent food quality and customer service
- Lead team to deliver a remarkable guest experience during their shifts
- Support leaders
- Execute team huddles to ensure all team members are on the same page
- Be proactive in checking behind team members
- Complete daily and weekly checklists
- Leave the restaurant better than what you found it
- Create emotional connections with guests
- Create a fun and cared for environment for team
- Coach to develop these behaviors of the team members on their shifts:
- Hustle to create a surprisingly fast Speed of Service
- Execute systems that ensure a welcoming and refreshingly clean environment
- Have a proactive mindset when it comes to team member responsibilities
